The complex systems that control today’s mobile machines depend on advanced measurement technology. Among other things, the devices and instruments used must be extremely robust and precise in order to reliably perform under extreme conditions. With the analog pressure sensor pSENS MH-3 and the digital CAN pressure sensor pSENS MHC-1 you can choose between two high-performance components of pressure measurement. Both pressure sensors combine outstanding temperature characteristics, excellent accuracy specifications and an instrument concept that has been designed for the severe operating conditions of mobile applications. A special qualification test program simulates these high requirements already during the development and production process of the sensors. Simply benefit from the decades of experience of the measurement technology specialist WIKA!
The pSENS MH-3 analog pressure sensor is standard for mobile machines. Based on WIKA’s proprietary thin-film technology, it features an especially low-profile design. Available in standard and customized versions, the compact sensor measures in the range from 0...6 bar to 0...600 bar. In addition, the user has a variety of further configuration options at their disposal, e.g. up to 5 analog output signals, 6 electrical connections and 6 process connections. Finally, pressure sensors of type MH-3 can optionally be equipped with signal clamping and diagnostic functions. The pSENS MH-3 has demonstrated its reliability worldwide under the harshest of conditions.
The digital CAN pressure sensor pSENS MHC-1 has been specifically developed so that the typical protocols for mobile hydraulics can be offered in a single instrument. The model MHC-1 is available with either CANopen or J1939 protocol. The available version with an integrated input and output connector (Y-connector) offers a very easy and secure installation. Both connector variants of the pressure transmitter have been qualified with an IP6K9K ingress protection and are ideally suited for the challenges of harsh environmental conditions.
