Trip amplifier for analog/CAN signal conversion and cross comparison functionalities

The digital safety trip amplifier cSCALE AI2CAN+ trueSafety is designed to convert up to four analog inputs into a CAN output signal. Furthermore, the trip amplifier not only offers signal conversion functionalities, but also stand-alone features, including cross comparison with optional cut-off functionality. With cSCALE AI2CAN+ trueSafety, small PLC functions up to safety level PL d according to EN ISO 13849 can be implemented.

Product Description

Our plus in safety and functionality! cSCALE AI2CAN+ trueSafety is designed to convert up to four analog inputs into a CAN output signal. Furthermore there are three digital I/O available. This enables users to combine system elements with analog or digital signal transmission with system elements communicating via CANbus, e.g. sensors or controller. cSCALE AI2CAN+ trueSafety not only offers signal conversion functionalities, but also stand-alone features, including cross comparison with optional cut-off functionality. This implies that specific small PLC functions up to PL d safety level acc. to EN ISO 13849 can be overtaken by this trip amplifier. cSCALE AI2CAN+ trueSafety can be driven as a CAN slave device or can be used as a standalone device. It offers a wide set of comparison thresholds (TH1 and TH2) as well as a wide spectrum of different physical sensor values (force, pressure, temperature or geometric values).
