Review of TOC and ICHCA: Two Events, One Topic

Just before the new SOLAS (Conventional for the Safety of Life at Sea) took effect on July 1 with its requirement that the weight of freight containers be verified before they may be removed from ports, Hirschmann MCS showed off its new <link internal-link internen link im aktuellen>fSENS MLS force sensor at TOC in Hamburg.

Like at the container weighing seminar that ICHCA held earlier in Antwerp, interest focused on ways of complying with the new SOLAS rules.
