WIKA Mobile Control generally offers two proven technologies of force measurement: thin-film technology and strain gauges. The fSENS KMD / F73x1 load cells and tension links detect static and dynamic tensile forces in direct force flow. The robust fSENS MA / F53x8 load pins measure tensile and compressive forces. Specialists for static and dynamic compression forces are compression force transducers of the fSENS DKA and RDKA series. Depending on the application, tensile and compressive forces can also be determined with the robust fSENS F23x1 tension and compression force transducers. The fSENS F33x1 shear beams detect shear forces precisely and reliably. Being especially designed for port applications, the fSENS F9205 twistlock sensors with optional twistlock enable precise weight measurement on spreaders and reliable container weighing before loading. Finally, the special force transducer fSENS FRKPS provides users with a comprehensive set for testing friction clutches of chain hoists. All force sensors are robust and meet highest safety standards. They excel with outstanding quality, precise accuracy and a flexible design.
With protection rating IP66/67, fSENS force sensors are ideally suited for use under extreme environmental conditions. They offer functional safety according to DIN EN ISO 13849 (PL d) and safety integrity level SIL 2 according to EN 61508 in the system. The force sensors are ready for operation in a temperature range from -40°C to +80°C and are particularly shock and vibration resistant.
Across all development and production stages of fSENS force sensors, precision and reliability are of top priority – this is the high quality standard of WIKA Mobile Control. The sensors excel with precision according to EN 61298-2 and the VDI/VDE 2637/2638 standard. The deviations of recorded measured values are ≤ ±1 % and zero points are stable in the long term even under adverse external influences. Finally, fSENS force sensors are characterized by their flexible design and adaptability to specific customer requirements. Available in standardized or customized versions, measuring ranges from 0...0.5 to 0...10,000 kN can be realized. A wide range of output signals such as 4...20mA (single-channel/redundant) or CANopen as well as customer-specific geometries create high flexibility for individual applications.
