On March 17, experts of TÜV SÜD visited Hirschmann MCS in Ettlingen to conduct the annual reaudit of its production facility. In addition to performing an in-depth general check and auditing production, various functional tests were on the agenda. The auditors established that every one of the production departments has achieved a high standard of functional safety, a fact that deserves special mention. Among other things, the sensor department received excellent marks for its standardized repair reports.
Based on the positive finding of the reaudit, the plant’s certificates of compliance with EN ISO 13849-1 2008 (PL d. CAT 3), EN 61508-1 2010 (SIL 2), EN 61508-2 2010 (SIL 2) and EN 61508-4 2010 (SIL 2) were renewed. Now the last obstacle has been removed to using the TÜV seal in connection with the production and sale of <link internal-link internen link im aktuellen>trueSafety products.
