“Lebenshilfe” counselling foundation receives donation from Hirschmann MCS. Several employees of Hirschmann MCS have participated in this year’s B2RUN corporate run in the German town of Karlsruhe. Incentive and stimulus for the athletic employees: For every kilometre run by its employees, the company wanted to donate Euro 10 for a good cause.
When the Managing Director Bastian Deck ran out of breath slowly but surely and he was overtaken by two runners of the team of Hagsfelder Werkstätten und Wohngemeinschaften Karlsruhe (HWK), he decided to give the donation of B2RUN to “Lebenshilfe-Stiftung Karlsruhe”. Euro 1,550 were raised. Together with two employees of Hirschmann MCS, Bastian Deck visited the institution in July for the presentation of the donation. The donation to the “Lebenshilfe-Stiftung” will be used for aids and projects which support the self-determination and social participation of persons with a disability.
