Two- and three-wire transmitters can be connected, as well as active sources with signals from 0/4...20 mA. The input is monitored for line breaks and cable short circuits. Two relays and one active current output with 0/4...20 mA are available as outputs. The current output is freely scalable. A small LC display visualizes measured values. You can choose from 17 different display units that include kg, t, N, bars etc.

The limit switch is operated via the control panel on the front or using computer software, which is available free of charge and enables quick and easy parameterization. A file containing setting parameters can be created, saved and loaded into any type EGS80 limit switch. This results in substantial time savings whenever it’s necessary to feed the same parameters to multiple instruments. An adapter cable is optionally available for connection to a laptop.
